Synopsis from Goodreads
A sexy new friends-to-lovers standalone!
Let me list the reasons why dating a sexy, charming, pro hockey star is a bad idea:
1. He’s one of my closest friends
2. All our friends are friends
3. The wounds I’ve got from past relationships go deep. And so do his.
We’re both devoutly single — it’s just safer for the heart that way. But there’s no reason not to bid on the gorgeous, clever athlete at the charity auction this weekend. If I win, it’ll be a friendsdate.
And I do win.
I win him big.
And all night long.
The trouble is . . . what happens in the morning?
Thanks for Last Night is a refreshing read focusing on the fun transition from friends to lovers without the need for additional angst or a drama llama.
Teagan and Ransom have fallen into an easy friendship since they were brought together by mutual friends. Although there has always been an undercurrent of attraction between the pair they have never acted on it due to fear of damaging their friendship group.
However, all thoughts of balancing friends and romance goes out of the window when Ransom enlists Teagan to help him win a bet by getting Teagan to bid on him at a bachelor auction for charity. Passion takes over and things heat up to boiling point.
While there are still concerns about altering the dynamic of their friendship group for both Teagan and Ransom; their friends are all rooting for them making the concerns inconsequential.
Thanks for Last Night provides more than one story as Ransom’s sister, Tempest’s story is also provided within the narrative.
While all the books in the series are standalone stories, Thanks for Last Night actually ties all of the stories together and provides a wonderful sense of completion for all involved.
