Synopsis from Goodreads

“Will you do me the greatest honor of all time and be my bridegroom?” she asks, hope in her eyes . . .

How did I get here? My assistant, bent on one knee, holding my hand, her expectant face waiting for an answer.

Just . . . how?

How did I go from being insulted by Charlee Cox to hiring her to be my assistant? How is it that she’s chaos in color – making me crazy and my life better at the same time?

I never thought I would be staring down at her bright blue eyes begging me to go along with this ridiculous scheme I suggested.

Yes, I suggested. Like the idiot I am, I thought hey, why not start an HR nightmare and have my assistant ask me to marry her?

Confused? Don’t worry, so am I.

But try to follow along, because this is how I became Boss Man Bridegroom.

Rath and Charlee are extremely cute together, with the classic office romance trope used to full effect within Boss Man Bride Groom.

Bram featured heavily in The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister with his hysterical Bromance with Bram. Bram is also the last man standing in his friendship group, wary of entering into a relationship after his previous affiliation ended badly. He has a tendency to project his negative emotions onto other situations creating barriers where there shouldn’t be.

Charlee is a ray of sunshine with her deep love of all things stationery product and her stunning organisational tools. I loved her take control manner while being caring and nurturing. At the beginning she appears to be the polar opposite of Rath, however, it is quickly apparent that Rath has been shielding his inner softie in order to protect himself.

While I adored the characters and the inclusion of the previous characters in this series of stand-alones, I did feel the story was a little drawn out creating frustration with the plot.

The shining star of the story definitely has to be the most inappropriate Grandmother in existence with a cunning manipulative streak, how could anyone resist her?
