Synopsis from Goodreads

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbour he falls for.

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.

I was that girl.

You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.

By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.

He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.

There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”

Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.

Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.

Mister Tonight is deliciously angst-free and utterly swoon-tastic.

Kate and Hunter meet at a bar where Kate is celebrating her 30th birthday with her two best friends. Sparks fly, one thing leads to another and Kate ends up back at Hunter’s place *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* unfortunately, it was a little more nudge than wink due to one of the most hysterically funny and equally cringe-worthy scenes I have ever read 😉

Kate tries to put the humiliating experience behind her only to discover Hunter is her new landlord!!!! Complete with a very sassy young daughter who isn’t convinced ‘adult snuggle time’ is a good thing 😂😂😂

Kendall mixes up the tropes with Hunter craving a real connection and relationship beyond the physical while Kate is relationship-challenged. Kate’s misgivings have nothing to do with her own experiences but rather her observation of others close to her has skewed her perception.

The sparks continue to fly and an arrangement agreed but there is so much more to Kate and Hunter than either of them initially expect. Walls come down and feelings are caught with all the warm and fuzzies along the way 💞😍 As I previously stated Mister Tonight is wonderfully trauma-free allowing complete immersion in the enchantment created between Hunter and Kate 💝
