Ella Fox (Out of Formation) – A super cute story of the developing relationship between a cheerleader and am older ex-football player turned coach. Having grown-up together due to the connection between Elena and Max has always been there just transforming as they grew older. Although neither are aware of how the other feels.
As Max is significantly older than Elena, he has been biding his time until Elena finishes college before professing his feelings in the hope that Elena will have had time to mature into the woman she wants to be. Little does Max know that Elena is far more self-aware than he gives her credit for and the only man she has ever had feelings for has been him.
Out of Formation is a quick, cute story where communication is key in all areas of life. Ella does an amazing job of packing what feels like a full-length story into such a short space.
Meghan Quinn (Back in the Game) – OMG Calder has to be the cutest single father ever. I adored everything about him, his devotion to his daughter is admirable although he can sacrifice his own happiness as a result.
Meghan highlights the difficulty of introducing people to a child life when you are unsure of the permanency of the relationship. Calder and Rachel are absolutely perfect for each other, although Calder’s parental obligations provide him with a crutch with which to avoid commitment which could lead to possible heartbreak. Without risk, there is no reward, and love is the greatest reward of all.
Back in the Game also introduces us to Hayden who will be taking a starring role in Meghan’s next full-length novel, Three Blind Dates.
Sara Ney (Switch Hitter) – Another brilliant and sweet romance from Sara Ney, laying the foundation for her new series Jock Row coming Spring 2018.
What happens when you agree to take your twin sisters place on a date only to fall for the guy in question yourself.
Amelia is nothing like her flighty sister Lucy but will do anything for her including taking her place when she is double booked for a date. Although having had a few pre-conceived ideas about the type of guy her sister would date, Amelia finds Dash nothing like she anticipates. Which is a huge problem when he is everything she has ever wanted for herself. PLUS Dash notices the subtle differences between Amelia and her twin sister, Lucy, immediately when even their own parents have difficulty telling them apart. Destiny and soul-mates.
Dash is completely adorable, raised to believe in relationships and not flings he only agreed to the date with Lucy to be polite when she pursued him. Pleasantly surprised by the changes he not only notices the appearance of his date but in her personality too, Dash believes he has found his other half. Although he is a little confused as to how he could have been so wrong in his initial judgment of Lucy (that’s because she is now Amelia, lol).
I truly loved this little glimpse into Sarah’s new series and hope to see more of Dash and Amelie along the way ♥
