GUEST REVIEW BY SEREN YEAR 5 (age 9)

Scary School is about Charles Nukid starting a new school, this was funny as his last name is a play on words with him also being a New Kid. It is really funny to follow his start in the school especially as he is nearly gobbled up within the first few weeks.
There is nothing in this book I didn’t like, I giggled my way through it from the beginning to the end. It is so colorful to picture all of the characters. There wasn’t a single character I didn’t like. My favorite character was Penny, I wanted to tell you why but Mum told me it would give away the plot *dramatic sigh*.
I cannot wait to read more books by this author, his stories are adventurous with a sprinkling of spooky. I highly recommend it.
