Book Wishing

I cannot believe it’s this time of year again – where the heck has it gone. So much has happened, so many fantastic books. So what have I had my eye on this year and what have I been lucky enough to read 😉

On My Library Wish-List – Superhero Book Edition

Book Wishing

Last week I mentioned on social media how under funding school libraries are. I currently have approximately £400 left in my budget to last until May next year. In that time, I am supposed to buy new books, start a comic book and manga collection, support reluctant readers and attempt to schedule events. Cue:

Some very lovely blogging friends suggested I put up posts showing the books I would love to have in my library to go alongside the lessons I run for KS3. The lessons are to promote reading for pleasure in the hope of increasing literacy skills. I am about to move onto New Superheroes and Supervillains with Year 7.

If you would like to donate any of the books or I am in desperate need of comics, any and all comics, please send them to:
