Synopsis from Goodreads

Felicity Hart has one goal: Completing her masters in art. Falling in love isn’t part of the plan. She reluctantly agrees to attend a Halloween party with her best friend. After sneaking away from the party and falling asleep in an unoccupied room, she wakes to the sexiest pair of eyes she’s ever seen. Eyes that belong to the one man who could turn her well organized world upside down. When he flashes that wicked, panty-melting smile at her the vow to not fall in love seems impossible…

Jared Redmond used to be the ultimate bad boy. But now his legal career is taking off and the partners of his firm are trusting him with high-dollar real estate transactions. Jared’s king-size bed is empty. But when he arrives home on Halloween to find a princess sleeping in his bed – his all work and no play attitude goes out the window. There’s nothing he wants more than to explore the hidden desires of this mysterious beauty and show her just how much of a bad boy he really is by fulfilling her every fantasy.

Underneath the glitter of this fairy tale romance, Felicity and Jared might have found true love. But the mounting pressure of their real lives takes hold again and Jared and Felicity are pulled further and further apart. Can they find their fairy tale ending or will they be left with the dying embers of what could have been?

Legally Charming has a delicious fairytale feel to the narrative from the beginning that is only enhanced as the story progresses.

Felicity is a shy, introvert and more than a little awkward unless she is discussing her one true passion, art. Highly career driven as a result of her poor upbringing, there are hints to a trauma in her past but this aspect of the plot is completely overshadowed by the romance within Legally Charming, it’s as if nothing else exists but the developing relationship between Felicity and Jared.

Jared is also highly career driven, having poured his heart and soul into his career up to this point in his life. Little realising he has been channeling his energy into his career in order to escape his innate loneliness. Something he hadn’t even realised about himself prior to his meeting Felicity.

There is no denying the attraction that simmers between Jared and Felicity, reaching a mutual understanding that their relationship is finite due to Felicity’s career goals, they embark on a relationship. Neither of them expecting to fall as hard or as deep as they do, yet they are both determined to achieve their individual goals.

Additional drama takes the shape of Jared’s boss, who also happens to be the father of his ex-girlfriend. Said boss is not above manipulation in order to have Jared exactly where he wants him, even if it is detrimental to his relationship.

As their feelings deepen Jared and Felicity have to acknowledge the effect their relationship has on their lives. With something so positive between the two of them it is hard to deny the new future they desire. I loved how fate stepped in to push them both to their happy ever after which Jared takes full control over and sweeps Felicity off her feet.

Legally Charming has a high swoon factor with very little angst to detract from the fairytale happily ever after ♥
