Synopsis from Goodreads
Revenge isn’t what the Eves are about. Justice is.
But when Sienna Stevens leaves Miami for her Errand in Seattle as Ally Andrews, revenge is the only thing on her mind. A woman scorned is one thing, but Ally is something else altogether. She will not rest until the man who upended her world is brought to his personal and financial knees. She won’t settle for just upending his world in return. She’s going for full-blown annihilation.
Ally’s barely in Seattle a day before complications arise. She begins making slips. She’s one error away from being pulled from the biggest Errand of her career when she comes face to face with Henry Callahan. Former lover. Current Target.
Things just went from complicated to catastrophic.
Dear Nicole you are killing me with the cliffhangers in this series
Who the…. ? What the…..? Why the…..? How the……?
You can tell it’s going to be one of those reviews already can’t you?
OMG this story just blew my mind. The plot twists are sensational, I was completely engrossed the entire time and when I got to the end I was shaking my kindle to give me more (I know wishful thinking).
Little glimpses into Eve’s past just add to the intrigue and suspense within the narrative. The irony and sarcasm within the story just added to my admiration of Nicole’s writing style. The thing that has cemented my love for Nicole Williams above all else is the way she pointed out the irony within the story via Eve’s internal monologues, this made me chuckle away to myself in the wee small hours of the night.
Eve is one of those characters that gets under your skin. Understanding of why she does what she does becomes clear as the story progresses, as well as the reasoning behind her actions. However, you are also able to feel how conflicted she is and the remorse (for want of a better word) she feels for being in this situation.
There are a few jaw dropping surprises that make you question EVERYTHING you’ve found out so far.
I have a feeling that the story is going to continually surprise me. I cannot wait to find out what happens next. Compelling is an understatement for this series.
