Synopsis from Amazon

Jem Halliday is in love with her gay best friend. Not exactly ideal, but she’s learning to live with it. Then the unspeakable happens. Kai is outed online … and he kills himself. Jem knows nothing she can say or do will bring him back. But she wants to know who was responsible. And she wants to take them down. A searing story of love, revenge and betrayal from a bestselling author.

This book is about a girl called Jem Halliday who’s fixated on revenge for her dead friend Kai after he kills himself. To avenge Kai she changes her self-image and becomes popular, though not everything is as it seems.

My favourite part of the story is when Jem starts reading letters that Kai has left for her. The way they give her a little bit of hope and a challenge every time is an amazing way to develop the story.

My favourite character is Sasha because she is so innocent and understanding to Jem. Even though Jem was class as ‘nobody’ Sasha talked to her and became her friend.

There is nothing I really dislike about the book part from the obvious dislike to the culprit who pushed Kai to kill himself.

There was a couple parts in the story were the text was repeated and I hope it got sorted out.

I would defiantly read a story by this author considering I have read the other books ‘Entangled’ and ‘Torn’

I would recommend this book to someone who enjoys love stories but is also able to handle serious problems.
