Synopsis from Goodreads

Stand by as Riley prepares to kick some serious demon butt for the last time in this thrilling, dramatic and sexy conclusion to The Demon Trappers series.

Riley’s always known that Beck had a chequered history, but she’s not prepared for what it actually means to be in love with a guy with this many dark secrets. Now that he’s finally admitted to himself that he’s in love with her too, there’s no more hiding the truth about his past. And as it turns out, fending off a demon apocalypse is nothing compared to what’s to come..

REVIEW

Please be aware that this is the fourth and final book in the series and the review may therefore contain spoilers for the previous books.

You are probably aware that I adore this series. From the very first book I was hooked Forsaken (review HERE), Forbidden (review HERE) and Forgiven (review HERE) have all added to my love of Riley and Beck. This book concentrates on the relationship between Riley and Beck. The revelations and unfolding of the whole plot bring a wonderful completeness to the plot.

Beck’s past is revealed, uncovering the layers that have defined him. WOW is all I can say, all the pieces regarding Beck’s actions just fall into place. Riley has certainly matured as a character throughout this series. Her maturity really stands out in this book and makes her an even stronger character in my mind. Her ability to deal with the situations she finds herself in is a stark contrast to the impetuous, anger driven girl we first encountered.

Understanding and insight is clarified not only in regard to the characters but I found the battle between Heaven and Hell was given more definition as well. Although there is still a great deal of action within the narrative; for me this was just a backdrop to Riley and Beck’s relationship.

This book is utter swoonage; ohhhh to be loved like that.
A wonderful conclusion to a fabulous series.
